Katarzyna Orawiec-Rymszewicz

MIDWIFE AND LACTATION EDUCATOR 

Midwife with a passion. She is a graduate of Medical University of Warsaw, majoring in Obstetrics. She completed many courses to update and deepen her knowledge in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. Among others, Lactation Educator Course, Wound Treatment, Family Nursing for Midwives, Adult and Newborn Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and many others. 

 

She started her path as a midwife at N.Z.O.Z Magodent in the gynecology department, and then - gynecological oncology, where she gained valuable experience and worked with difficult cases. In later years, she worked in the neonatal ward at Independent Public Clinical Hospital. prof. W. Orłowski, gaining knowledge and experience in the care and treatment of the smallest patients. The next stop on her professional path was Żelazna Medical Center, in the pregnancy pathology department, where she had the opportunity to take care of patients with complicated pregnancies. 

 

Currently, she practices at Institute of Mother and Child, where she participates in the beautiful story of birth, but also helps mothers in difficult moments that life throws at them: problems with breastfeeding, e.g. due to the health of the mother or child, return fitness and recovery during the postpartum period, as well as emotional support at the beginning of motherhood. 

 

Also, Kasia is a happy mother of two fantastic children: 6-year-old Zuzia and 2-year-old Ola. She loves spending time on family trips, having fun together and discovering the world with children. 😉 

 

Marcelina Przeździęk

NEUROLOGICAL SPEECH THERAPIST, SPECIAL EDUCATOR, NDT-BOBATH THERAPIST, ACADEMIC LECTURER

Marcelina has been working since 2009, first for many years in home rehabilitation of MS patients as part of Polish Multiple Sclerosis Society. Subsequently, she worked at Day Neurological Rehabilitation Center of the Warsaw Children's Hospital and at Neonatology and Neonatal Intensive Care Clinic of the Institute of Mother and Child. Currently, she works in the Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Eating Disorders and Pediatrics, Pomnik Institute - Children's Health Center, Olinek Intensive Care Center and Doctor Best Rehabilitation Clinic in Warsaw. She is the author of articles on feeding children with CP, dysarthria in MS, and a guide for MS patients. She completed an internship at the Department and Clinic of Otoaryngology at the Central Clinical Hospital in Warsaw in the field of diagnosis and therapy of dysphagia. She started international training in endoscopic swallowing examination. Marcelina is a member of European Society for Swallowing Disorders and the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society. She completed the RCM Neurorehabilitacion Nivel I and II course with Marianela Pernuzzi and many specialized courses related to the diagnosis and therapy of feeding disorders in infants and young children. She conducts classes for postgraduate students in the field of speech therapy and neurological speech therapy. Marcelina works with children as the part of early therapeutic intervention, mainly those born prematurely, those with a history of perinatal distress and those who cannot speak. She deals with feeding therapy for children with difficulties in this area (including alternatively fed children) and guides children in communication using alternative and supportive communication methods. On social media she operates as @Marcelina_Neurologopeda. 

 

Magdalena Zujewicz

CHILDREN’S PHYSIOTHERAPIST AND SI THERAPIST 

Magdalena started her professional career by working in the kindergarten, conducting corrective gymnastics classes. Currently, she is working in the private office "Reha Kinesis" and Rehabilitation Center at the Provincial Hospital. She is a Physiotherapist with a mission, Educator, FITS therapist, PNF therapist, Sensory Integration therapist, Shantala massage instructor, massage therapist for pregnant women, SMYKO-MULTISENSORYKI trainer, first-degree trainer of Weronika Sherborne. Magdalena is qualified for kinesiotaping. In terms of neurology, she completed a course in child neurological assessment and diagnosis, and then a course in the management of infant developmental disorders. On Instagram she is known as @fizjoterapeutka_z_misja
