Keep the thermometer clean. Clean it before and after each use. Wipe the end of the thermometer with cotton wool soaked in a solution of max. 70% alcohol. Wipe the display with a damp cloth.
To turn on the thermometer, press the button next to the display. You will hear a short beep and the display shows 188.8M°E, which means the thermometer is turned on. If you want to play back the last temperature measurement, hold down the button for 2 seconds and it will appear in the display together with the "M" symbol. If the room temperature is higher than 32.0°C, the display will show the temperature value instead of "Lo°". A blinking "°C" indicates that the thermometer is ready for use.
When the battery is running low, the display shows ╦ . To change the battery, remove the battery cover, then remove the used battery with a toothpick or tweezers and insert a new one. Make sure that the battery is inserted correctly, i.e. with the plus side facing up. Replace the battery cover. The temperature can be measured with an electronic thermometer: in the mouth, under the armpit and rectal (through the rectum). Attention! If you apply the rectal method at least once, do not use the thermometer orally for sanitary reasons.
When the temperature reaches the highest possible measurement or the current temperature level is measured, the "°C" symbol on the display stops flashing and a beep sounds. If the temperature exceeds 37.5°C, you will hear a double beep.
To turn off the thermometer, press the button next to the display. Attention! The child's temperature should be measured under adult supervision. The thermometer is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children. Do not bend the tip of the thermometer excessively, do not throw it, do not remove the battery cover. Check the product before each use. If there are any first signs of damage or wear, throw away.
