The special Anti-Colic S-Shape Bottle Canpol babies by difrax was designed to effectively assist parents in initial feeding and colic reduction.

The S-Shape Bottle designed by Difrax has a unique shape and a special anti-colic mechanism. The shape of the bottle ensures that the teat is full of milk in any position, even at a slight angle (20 degrees). It supports rotational feeding, that is when the parent uses different positions throughout the day (side position, adult face, classic position), and a correct feeding position is one of the key factors in reducing the incidence of colics. The anti-colic valve and the holes in the base allow air to escape from the inside of the bottle, ensuring a constant flow of milk and allowing the baby to drink continuously without swallowing air. The combination of these two features creates a highly effective anti-colic feeding system – effectively eliminating air from the bottle and teat and reducing the risk of colics, cramps and other abdominal discomfort.

The ergonomic shape of the bottle makes feeding more comfortable for both baby and carer. When feeding with the S-Shaped Bottle, the carer intuitively adopts a natural and correct position and the baby does not need to tilt its head excessively, which is also important at the stage of independent bottle-feeding.

The physiological bottle teat is soft and resembles mother's breast, making it easier to combine breast and bottle feeding. Made from hypoallergenic, odourless, matt silicone – easily accepted by children. The tabs inside the dummy prevent it from collapsing and sticking together when drinking.

Thanks to its removable base, the S-Shape Bottle is extremely easy to disassemble and thoroughly clean.

Before each assembling and using the bottle, check that the hole in the anti-colic valve in the silicone seal at the bottom of the bottle is open.

The bottle can be disinfected and heated in a microwave (the bottle should be open). The bottle can be washed in the dishwasher (max. temperature 65⁰C). It is not recommended to wash the teat in the dishwasher as detergents/cleaning agents may damage the product. Fruit juices or teas may leave residue or discoloration on the bottle/teat, which does not change its properties.

ATTENTION! Canpol babies brand recommends breastfeeding as the healthiest form of feeding. It recommends starting to give milk in an alternative form only after consulting a doctor, midwife or pharmacist when breastfeeding is impossible or insufficient.

How to use

Keep the product clean. Before first use, please disassemble and clean the product, then place the components in boiling water for 5 minutes to ensure hygiene. Cooking and hard water can cause deposits to form.

Clean before each use. Wash all parts thoroughly with clean water, including areas that may not be visible, but where food has passed through, to remove any food residue. After use, clean the bottle with pacifier from food residues, rinse, wash and then disinfect in a steam/electric sterilizer or boiling water. The bottle can be washed in the dishwasher (max. temperature 65⁰C). It is not recommended to wash the pacifier in the teat, as detergents/cleaning agents may damage the product. Do not use antibacterial agents for cleaning.

Check before each use and stretch the pacifier in all directions. Check the teat especially carefully when your baby has teeth. Discard at the first sign of damage or weakness. Do not tighten the teat cap too tightly as the nipple may not vent properly. Check if food is not leaking from under the cap. Do not punch or enlarge the holes in the teat, this may damage it.

Be especially careful when heating in a microwave oven. Always stir heated milk to distribute the temperature evenly and check the temperature before serving. If you heat milk in a microwave, remember that the bottle shpuld be open. The product should not be placed in a preheated oven or heated in a gas or electric stove. Do not leave the feeding teat in a sunny or hot place or in disinfectants ("sterilization solution") for longer than recommended, as this may weaken the pacifier. For safety and hygiene reasons, it is recommended to replace the teat with a new one every 2 months.
