It was developed in cooperation with a neurological speech therapist to meet the needs of parents who combine breastfeeding with bottle feeding, as well as exclusive pumping mothers. One of the greatest concerns for parents is breast refusal when introducing a bottle. A neurological speech therapist’s study of the Natural Shape bottle with infants* showed that it is quickly accepted by breastfed babies — even from the very first feeding. Fruit juices or teas may leave residue or cause discoloration on the teat; this does not affect its functional properties.
The teat should not be heated in a microwave oven or washed in a dishwasher, as detergents and strong cleaning agents may damage the product.
The teat can be disinfected and sterilised by boiling.
Keep the product clean. It is not recommended to wash the pacifier in the teat, as detergents/cleaning agents may damage the product. Do not use antibacterial agents for cleaning.Check before each use and stretch the pacifier in all directions. Check the teat especially carefully when your baby has teeth. Discard at the first sign of damage or weakness. Do not tighten the teat cap too tightly as the nipple may not vent properly. Check if food is not leaking from under the cap. Do not punch or enlarge the holes in the teat, this may damage it.Be especially careful when heating in a microwave oven. Always stir heated milk to distribute the temperature evenly and check the temperature before serving. If you heat milk in a microwave, remember that the bottle shpuld be open. The product should not be placed in a preheated oven or heated in a gas or electric stove. Do not leave the feeding teat in a sunny or hot place or in disinfectants ("sterilization solution") for longer than recommended, as this may weaken the pacifier. For safety and hygiene reasons, it is recommended to replace the teat with a new one every 2 months.
