Canpol babies Wearable In-Bra Milk Collectors, 2 pcs

Symbol: 1/700

If you are a breastfeeding mum you have certainly experienced the uncontrolled flow of milk from the breast. The milk collection shells collect the milk that spontaneously flows out of the other breast when feeding your baby or pumping with a breast pump. It is a must-have for every mum and a mandatory item in the maternity bag.

The Canpol babies milk collectors is hands-free – you don't have to hold it in your hand. It is light and thin – when placed in a bra it is unnoticeable and comfortable to use. It does not strain the breast when collecting milk. When pressed against the breast, the collector sucks in spontaneously and works like a manual breast pump. The collection shells are made of plastic that does not contain BPA or other harmful substances – they are safe and suitable for direct contact with breast milk.

They also serve as an extra protective layer for sensitive nipples, preventing chafing from clothing. The milk collector consists of two parts that are easy to assemble and disassemble: a shield that collects the milk and prevents staining of bra, and a soft silicone nipple cap that is gentle on sensitive breasts. Each collection shell holds up to 50 ml of milk, so you don't have to worry about spontaneously leaking milk overflowing from the shell and staining your bra. The milk collected in the collection shell can be easily transferred to a bottle, so that not a single precious drop of milk is wasted. The design of the milk collectors makes them easy to clean and sterilise. A practical bag is included in the set for easy hygienic storage. Canpol milk collectors are universal and fit all nipple sizes.

How to use
The in-bra milk collector consists of two components: a plastic container (shell) for collecting milk and a silicone cushion.
Before wearing the collector, remember that the skin on the breast and the entire collector must be dry. Wash your hands thoroughly. Fit the two parts together, check that the silicone cushion fits snugly around the edge of the plastic container. Place the collector inside the bra. Place the silicone cushion on the breast so that the nipple sticks out through the round opening. The cushion should not cause pain or discomfort, only gentle pressure.
How to use the collector during breast milk oversupply:
Gently massage the breast around the cushion, causing the milk to slowly leak out of the breast and relieving breast engorgement. Give the collected breast milk to your baby immediately or transfer the collected milk and store it in the fridge to keep it fresh. CAUTION! Long-term storage of breast milk in the shell may render it unfit for consumption!
The in-bra milk collector is an excellent alternative to breast pads. It can be used during feeds as well as between feeds, e.g. when nursing a baby.
Please note: It is not recommended to wear the milk collector for long periods of time, as this can cause discomfort in the mammary glands. Remove the milk collector when you feel pain or discomfort.

After each subsequent use, wash the product in warm water with a mild detergent, rinse thoroughly with warm water. Pour boiling water over the product.
