The spout has a built-in valve that prevents spilling and reduces leakage. Fluid flow only occurs when a child is sucking. Depending on the strength of the suction, the drink flows more or less intensively. When the fluid is not sucked in, the valve closes and prevents it from leaking out. The silicone spout is connected with a plastic tube that ends at the bottom of the sport cup and makes drinking easier.
Keep it clean. Before the first and each subsequent use, wash the sport cup and all its dismantled parts in warm water with a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. For disinfection pour boiling water. Do not boil. Avoid rough, surface-scratching tools during use and cleaning. After each use clean the sport cup and the straw from food remains, rinse thoroughly and then wash. It is dishwasher-safe. It is not recommended to clean the spout in the dishwasher as detergents/cleaners may damage the product. The sport cup can be used in microwave.

At first it will be difficult for both of you. A bottle is associated with a baby sucking milk, with your warmth. The first attempts to drink from a regular mug will end with flooding the clothes, so for a start it is worth reaching for a training bottle (just replace the teat for the mouthpiece), and then a non-spill mug or a bottle with a straw. These stages will allow your toddler to switch from a bottle to a regular mug without a lid.
