Set aside the tube and conduit connector. These items do not need to be washed or sanitized because the
diaphragm prevents them from coming in contact with the breast milk. Before you use the breast pump for the first time, disassemble below breast pump parts: up cover, diaphragm, pump body with funnel, silicone massaging shield, funnel cover, silicone valve, feeding bottle, wide and narrow neck bottle converter. Wash in hot water with mild detergent, rinse thoroughly. Disinfect by placing in boiling water for approx. 5 min. Completely air- or towel-dry before reassembly and next use. Bottle cap, screw cap, sealing disc and a food container with screw cap should be sanitized in the same way. Before first and subsequent use wash the teat with warm water then place it in boiling water for 5 min. CAUTION! Do not wash the tube, the conduit connector or electric parts.
To clean the electric pump base, wipe the base with a damp cloth.
